Dima Haydar Hackwood
Dima is a dedicated professional with senior management and director experience in both Lebanon and the UK. Dima has 17 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Sector, working in the quality control Laboratories of the Oil Installations in Lebanon. Dima’s academic achievements are through PhD level studies (The Washington University, Washington DC, USA) in the field of analytical chemistry after achieving both a BSc in Chemistry and MSc in Organic Chemistry from the American University of Beirut.
Dima’s expertise includes:
- Oil and Gas Sectors and ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 Implementation and Accreditation.
- Setting up laboratories for Oil and Gas testing ( experience in all ASTM, IP, EN, ISO testing methods and equipment used in the Oil and Gas sector)
- Energy Conservation and Planning as well as Renewable Energies
- Sustainable Development and Climate Change experience working with the UNDP, UNEP, UNIDO as well as with donor bodies
- Project Management through managing a number of projects and PMP training
- Tri-lingual Communication Skills and Team Management
Dima has extensive experience in management systems in the Oil laboratories and correlation scheme, as well as ensuring training needs for all personnel working in the Laboratories.
Dima is keen to produce quality services and help companies, universities and institutions to set up laboratories from A to Z, both in the Oil and Gas sector as well as any field requiring knowledge of chemical instrumentations.
Dima has experience in working in the Middle East, Europe and the USA and hence knows how to adapt to different requirements and different settings. Dima’s keen to help clients meet these requirements.
Dr. BouKhozam is a quality manager at the Lebanese Atomic Energy Commission and is Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the Lebanese University and Saint Joseph University. She is a Certified Lead Auditor for ISO standards 9001, 18001 and 14001, and Lead Assessor for ISO standards 17025 & 17020. Since 2003, Rola has been an active lecturer and provides training courses on the implementation of quality management systems (ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001) in various countries, throughout the Middle East, Africa and Asia. She is also a consultant for the International Atomic Energy Agency- IAEA in coaching laboratories on how to implement quality management systems.
Dr BouKhozam has her PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of “Pau et Pays de l’Adour”, France. At the Lebanese Atomic Energy Commission, she carries out research on food contaminants by multi-elemental study by ICP/MS and AAS techniques and food traceability by isotope ratio technique for tracing the geographical origin and the authenticity of products. She is member of the “Lebanese Metrology Committee”, and the “Committee for Higher Academic Accreditation – Lebanese University”; and assigned as counterpart for several technical cooperation projects sponsored by the IAEA.
With her analytical competence and hands-on quality systems experience, Dr BouKhozam has used her extensive experience to help guide a number of laboratories through the accreditation process.
